E.J.'s (they/she) work has appeared or is forthcoming in Cleaver Magazine, Hobart, HAD, Wigleaf, Juked, Pidgeonholes, FOTD, The Doctor T.J. Eckleburg Review, McSweeney's Internet Tendency, Necessary Fiction, Fwriction: Review, Lost Balloon and others. They read for Philadelphia Stories and co-host the supernatural history podcast SLAYING MONSTERS with M. Scott Johnston and Katie Simpson. Their debut novel, Confessions of a Curious Bookseller came out in 2020 through Lake Union.

Their first horror novel, ANA MUST DIE (AGAIN) is forthcoming from Evil Twin, spring 2027. 

 

Hailing from Upstate NY, E.J. now lives in a suburb just outside of Philadelphia with their partner and two cats. They hold a B.F.A. in Theater Arts from the University of the Arts. When they are not writing, E.J. is training in aikido, bouldering at the rock gym, and learning Spanish.
